Dana Watts

Dana J Watts,  graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in three years and followed with a law degree from the University of Miami. He started his legal career as in house counsel and a lobbyist for American Banker Insurance Group in Miami before becoming a Division Chief and Major Crimes Prosecutor for the Dade County State Attorneys Office. Since moving to Sarasota in 1984, he has had a civil trial practice with focus upon construction litigation, commercial litigation and personal injury.

Dana has been a Supreme Court Certified Mediator for 30 years, a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer for 25 years, and is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell.

In 2021, Dana merged his 30 year Sarasota solo law practice with Ulrich, Scarlett, Wickman & Dean, and will be sharing his vast experience with ours clients and attorneys.
